On the south side of Minneapolis lies one of the best pho eateries in Minnesota. This culinary experience is one of the busiest Vietnamese restaurants in the Twin Cities and within driving distance to all surrounding suburbs just situated a little south of downtown Minneapolis on the bustling diverse street of Nicollet.
The price is right! The food is extraordinaire! The pho is a must, plus they make the best egg rolls in Minnesota. Their egg rolls are golden and flaky with a subtle crunch on the outer layer as they’re freshly deep-fried to order; the stuffing is a work of magic that is to die for—I’m a fan forever, and sometimes, a couple of orders of egg rolls and a plate of white rice would suffice as a complete meal for me.
The other main entrees are the wide assortments of broken rice platters, vermicelli salads, and a whole whopping seventeen different clear noodle soup bowls that they offer, plus don’t forget to check out the delicatessen of daily fresh bakes and sandwiches.
The foods a plus, the service tends to be a little slow due to the high traffic of patrons, I’m giving Quang a surprising 8 out of 10 stars. If you haven’t had a chance to visit this restaurant you’ll definitely want to try it out on your next outing if you’re looking for excellent Vietnamese cuisine.

Where should I begin? I think for business they have a good menu not too much but just the favorites. The Pho is okay but then again pho is just pho as long as they have all the ingredients. Service is okay, plenty of workers.
Maybe if your a downtown person but still this place is far and hidden, that whole area is pretty much hidden. WTF? lol
Anyways I give it a 6 out of 10
AND PARKING IS A ITCH!
Quang’s food is great, but I have to say their service isn’t the greatest. Servers aren’t the nicest. Doesn’t matter to me much though. I go out to eat to eat, not to be served.
Sytine
I agee. I frequently go out to eat for lunch. I SWEAR it on my life that their service is very unprofessional;Tossing sandwiches into the bag, snaching card payment, smiling at an american thanking and bidding a good day to them but when you go up next its an ” blah $$” puts card on the counter for you to pick up and your on your way…I personally thought I was the only one that sees their service this way…oh aND NOT TO MENTION…they baby sit behind the counter…hmmm
How come u never take me with?? LoL
If you’re white, they will treat you better and be friendlier to you than if you’re Asian. Such a bunch of bullcrap! The hostess took us to a horrible table and just threw the menus there. A white couple came after us and she took them to a table, asked if the table was ok first, before moving them to a booth by the window.
I feel you on that because I’ve seen it firsthand! I’ve been to others where they do just the same. My friends and I weren’t offered any of the side condiments for pho as far as bean sprouts, sliced jalepenos and lime wedges, but when a white couple came through who ordered after us they were given the condiments…we were like WTF…so never stepped into that restuarant ever again!!!
I often settle for lunch at this place because I work in the area. I have seen and agreed with everyone on their imputs on their levels of service.
I mostly lunch with my “American” coworkers so my treatment has been better. When I do go there with my asian people, treatments have been different also. I do noticed that and have several thoughts on it.
All in all, the food is very good. Reasonable pricing, not good on parking spaces. Most times the servers usually are nicer to me than the “cashier owners”. (They sure can use a vacation sometime).
